Join Enverus as an Energy Markets Associate and help shape the future of power pricing in North America. This Calgary-based role drives innovative analysis and forecasting.
You will independently manage a regional market area, developing insightful long-term forecasts for power prices. This role allows you to work closely with institutional investors and utilities, making your analytical contributions vital.
Your role will include traveling to the US for direct client interactions, enhancing your professional experience in energy markets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and update long-term energy price forecasts
• Model generation mixes, including renewables and thermal changes
• Investigate demand factors like industrial growth
• Assist senior members in client meetings with analytical insights
• Create visually compelling research content for clients
Requirements:
• Relevant degree in Engineering, Statistics, or Economics
• Strong overall intelligence with a focus on problem-solving
• Passion for power markets and energy dynamics
• Willingness to commit to Calgary with travel
• Previous experience with data analysis tools is beneficial
