Position: Power Generation Operations Technician Role

Capitalize on your expertise as an Operations Technician with NAES Canada at the Cavalier Energy Centre in Strathmore, Alberta. This role is pivotal in ensuring reliable power generation.

As a crucial member of the Operations and Maintenance team, you will handle various tasks, including operating advanced gas turbine systems and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. Your three years of experience in large industrial facilities will guide you in troubleshooting and maintaining plant operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain advanced power generation systems

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance

• Enforce strict safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout

• Manage inventory control and assess equipment status

• Prepare accurate reports for internal and regulatory compliance

Requirements:

• Second Class Inter-Provincial Power Engineering Certificate preferred

• At least three years in the power generation field

• Knowledge of environmental monitoring systems

• Valid driver’s license unrestricted

• Ability to lift heavy equipment when necessary
