Position: Electrical Apprentice Solar Installation Role
Join Firefly Solar as an Electrical Apprentice and Solar Installer in Calgary or Lethbridge, Alberta, and embark on a fulfilling career in renewable energy. This full-time position emphasizes hands-on work and skill development in solar installations.

As an Electrical Apprentice at Firefly Solar, you will work alongside experienced Journeyman Electricians to support residential and commercial installations. You will engage in practical tasks while ensuring adherence to safety standards and electrical codes, making quality work a priority.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the installation and wiring of solar PV systems

• Assemble and mount solar racking and panels

• Pull wire and install necessary conduit

• Conduct basic construction tasks related to setup

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements:

• Registered Electrical Apprentice (1st–4th year)

• Ability to work safely at heights and outdoors

• Strong attention to detail and mechanical skills

• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license

• Capable of lifting 50+ lbs and performing physical tasks
