Wind Operations Controller

Step into a vital role at Enbridge as a Wind Operations Controller at our Remote Operations Center in Calgary, AB. Your expertise will ensure the performance of wind and solar plants while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Enbridge is seeking a Wind Operations Controller to monitor and coordinate renewable energy production. In this full-time position, you will work closely with Senior Controllers, Field Personnel, and Engineering teams to address operational issues. Your analytical skills will help troubleshoot turbine and inverter alerts to maintain high energy production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor operations of wind, solar, and substation assets 24/7

• Diagnose and resolve operational issues through data analysis

• Coordinate corrective actions to improve turbine reliability

• Ensure site safety by communicating abnormal conditions

• Manage compliance obligations with regulatory entities

Requirements:

• Related technical diploma or four years of experience

• Up to 2 years of experience in wind and power operations

• Proficiency in SCADA and monitoring technologies

• Solid understanding of electrical systems and compliance standards

• Strong communication skills and ability to perform under pressure
