Senior SAGD Operator at Connacher Oil

Elevate your career as a Senior SAGD Operator with Connacher Oil and Gas Limited at the Algar facility in Calgary. This fly-in/fly-out role offers a 7-on, 7-off rotation, focusing on process optimization and collaboration.

As a vital member of the operations team, you will report directly to the Manager and leverage your extensive experience in SAGD processes. Your strong leadership and communication skills will be essential for fostering effective teamwork with maintenance and engineering personnel for safe and productive operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor SAGD processes and steam generation accurately

• Perform field equipment checks and detailed data logging

• Support shutdowns and troubleshoot plant issues

• Enforce safety protocols and conduct thorough hazard assessments

• Document shift logs and ensure smooth handover processes

Requirements:

• 2nd Class Power Engineering Certificate preferred

• At least 10 years in SAGD or oil & gas

• Proficient in process control and safety systems

• Valid Class-5 driver’s license required

• Eligible to work in Canada
