Join Connacher Oil and Gas Limited as a Senior SAGD Operator at the Algar facility, focusing on process optimization and team collaboration. This fly‑in/fly‑out job features a 7-on, 7-off rotation. As a key player in operations reporting to the Manager, you will utilize your extensive operating experience to manage SAGD processes from the control room.
Solid communication and leadership skills are necessary to work effectively with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure secure and productive operations.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor SAGD processes and steam generation
- Perform field equipment checks and data logging
- Support shutdowns and plant troubleshooting
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct hazard assessments
- Document shift logs and facilitate handover processes
- 2nd Class Power Engineering Certificate preferred
- Minimum 10 years in SAGD, oil & gas or petrochemical
- Proficient in process control and safety systems
- Valid Class-5 driver’s license required
- Eligible to work in Canada
