This dynamic role requires a candidate with a 4th Class Power Engineer ABSA boiler operator’s ‘A’ certificate. Key responsibilities include maintaining steam generating and compressed air equipment, logging boiler pressures and temperatures, and complying with ABSA regulations. Focus on safe operation and support of powerful systems in a structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain steam generating and compressed air equipment

• Log boiler pressures, temperatures, and levels accurately

• Comply with ABSA regulations for boiler operation

• Perform regular safety checks and maintenance

• Complete other related tasks as directed by supervisors

Requirements:

• Valid 4th Class Power Engineer ABSA boiler operator’s ‘A’ certificate

• Forklift Certificate in good standing

• Commitment to safety equipment and practices

• Attention to detail in maintenance duties

• Ability to follow SOP procedures including lockout
