What You Will Do:
Partner closely with Senior Planning engineers to understand project scope, assumptions, and key drivers, translating scope into actionable planning insights.
Support the identification of project milestones and high-level risks to enable effective sequencing and execution readiness.
Maintain and improve the master planning tool, supporting the development of coordinated, multi-year plans across the Facilities Program portfolio.
Help with early project tasks like front-end engineering coordination and site visits to prepare projects for shovel-ready status. Additionally, assist in developing long-range cost estimates using benchmarks and insights from continuous improvement.
Support the Optimization Specialist in identifying process inefficiencies, recurring issues, and performance gaps by gathering data, maintaining trackers, and completing initial analysis across the portfolio.
Assist with the development and implementation of improvement initiatives by coordinating meetings, detailing action items and lessons learned, tracking progress against timelines and important metrics, and following up with responsible teams.
Who You Are:
Bachelor's degree or related construction operational training and/or experience.
4+ years of industry experience, preferably in Project Management, Project Planning and/or Optimization. For candidates who do not possess a university degree, an additional 3-years of experience is needed (7+ years).
Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on streamlining processes and eliminating waste.
Strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, organization, and planning skills.
Collaborative, customer-focused team player who thrives in fast-paced environments.
Self-motivated professional with the ability to work independently; project management experience is an asset.
