The Opportunity
Worley is seeking a Pipeline Asset Management & Operations Readiness Lead to play a critical role in the delivery of a major greenfield pipeline development. This position serves as the vital link between engineering design and long‑term operations, ensuring the pipeline is designed with operational readiness, maintainability, and lifecycle performance in mind.

Working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle, you will translate design intent into practical operating strategies, maintenance programs, and asset management plans that enable the safe, reliable, and efficient commissioning and operation of a world‑class pipeline system.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of Asset Management Plans (AMPs) during the FEED phase, ensuring the pipeline design aligns with the future operator's business, safety, and operational requirements.

Develop Asset Implementation Plans (AIPs) that transform engineering designs into executable operating, maintenance, and commissioning strategies.

Partner closely with engineering teams to influence the design of process facilities, SCADA systems, compressor and pump stations, valves, and other critical pipeline infrastructure from an operational perspective.

Define the operating model, maintenance organization, staffing requirements, budgets, and governance needed to support commissioning and long‑term operations.

Ensure operational plans meet regulatory requirements while supporting safe, reliable, and efficient pipeline performance throughout the asset lifecycle.

Serve as the bridge between engineering and operations, ensuring design decisions support practical execution, operational efficiency, maintainability, and long‑term asset integrity from day one.

What You'll Bring

20+ years of experience in pipeline operations, maintenance, or asset management within the oil and gas industry.

Demonstrated experience implementing, operating, managing, and monitoring major pipeline systems and associated facilities.

Strong understanding of pipeline field operations, including inspections, leak detection systems, pump stations, compressor stations, block valve sites, and other operating assets.

Experience leading or supporting operational activities such as commissioning, pigging, line inspections, startups, shutdowns, troubleshooting, and maintenance programs.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and operations teams to ensure facilities are designed for safe, efficient, and reliable long‑term operation.
