As an Intermediate Protection & Control Technologist at Spark Power, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of power distribution equipment. Your 2-5 years of experience will be essential in inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting AC & DC control systems. This position demands adherence to safety protocols and entails significant travel—70-80% of your time.
Key Responsibilities:
• Program and verify protection & control devices in the field
• Test and maintain circuit breakers and transformers
• Read and interpret complex electrical schematics
• Coordinate compliance with health and safety standards
• Record and report electrical test data accurately
Requirements:
• 2-5 years experience in Protection & Control
• 2-year diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Registered or eligible for registration with ASET/APEGA
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
