Strathcona Resources Ltd., headquartered in Calgary, is seeking a skilled Plant Operator to join its Lloydminster Thermal Operations team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with thermal processing equipment and systems, along with a commitment to safety and environmental compliance.

Your role will encompass operational monitoring and compliance with HSER policies, impacting production efficiency and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate thermal processing equipment safely and efficiently

• Conduct inspections and data collection for operational decisions

• Maintain plant operations to meet production and steam delivery targets

• Troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and enhance performance

• Support safety protocols and participate in emergency drills

Requirements:

• Minimum Third-Class Power Engineering (TSASK) Certification

• 5+ years in Oil and Gas industry (SAGD or CSS)

• Hands-on knowledge of OTSGs, oil/water treating

• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

• Willingness to relocate and hold a valid driver’s license
