HWN Energy Contract Operator Role

Become a Contract Operator at HWN Energy Ltd. in Central Alberta, focusing on plant operations and safety. Work 8 days on and 6 days off in the Kaybob South area.

This position is designed for candidates with a strong operational background in gas plant environments. You'll be responsible for overseeing plant operations, responding to SCADA data, and ensuring the safe handling of production streams. This hands-on role requires a proactive approach to equipment maintenance and safety training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and operate gas plant equipment and SCADA systems

• Implement safety measures and conduct inspections

• Manage water injection tasks and optimize production

• Conduct training and support staff in daily operations

• Liaise with internal teams for effective project execution

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license needed

• Minimum of 2-3 years in operational roles

• Must complete General Educational Development (grade 12)

• Preferred: certification in Power Engineering or related field

• Familiarity with H2S safety measures and equipment
