Lead SAGD Operator Connacher

Elevate your career as a Senior SAGD Operator with Connacher Oil and Gas Limited at the Algar facility, located near Fort McMurray. This role features a fly-in/fly-out schedule emphasizing safety and efficiency.

You will report to the Manager, Operations, and spearhead SAGD process monitoring and optimization efforts. The successful candidate will excel in fostering teamwork, possess strong interpersonal skills, and apply over ten years of relevant experience in process control and plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor processes from the control room

• Conduct inspections and log operational data

• Lead or assist in start-ups and troubleshooting

• Apply safe work practices including LOTO and assessments

• Ensure accurate shift logs and effective handovers

Requirements:

• 2nd Class Power Engineering Certificate is a plus

• Over 10 years in SAGD or related sectors required

• Thorough understanding of safety systems and DCS

• Must hold a valid Class-5 driver’s license

• Authorized to work in Canada
