Uniper is hiring a Physical Gas Scheduler to optimize natural gas transactions across North America. This key role involves daily coordination and scheduling, alongside teamwork with traders and operators.
As a Physical Gas Scheduler at Uniper, you will manage the daily scheduling and coordination of gas across pipelines, ensuring all contractual obligations are met. Close collaboration with traders, pipeline operators, and customers will be essential to resolve issues and optimize the gas delivery chain. You will also provide support for operational analysis and process enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule daily natural gas transactions across various facilities
• Prepare accurate transportation and storage nominations
• Monitor confirmations, allocations, and imbalances
• Collaborate to resolve scheduling discrepancies
• Assist with operational analysis and improvements
Requirements:
• Four-year degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• Experience in financial or marketing roles preferred
• High proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent multitasking abilities
