At WSP's Calgary office, you will support the wind and solar field services by installing and maintaining meteorological towers and systems. This role involves regular travel to remote project sites where your practical skills will be instrumental in advancing renewable energy initiatives while upholding safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain meteorological towers and remote sensing devices
• Ensure vehicles and tools are ready for safe field operations
• Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting and material handling
• Participate in WSP’s safety program and identify hazards
• Document and communicate site activities accurately to supervisors
Requirements:
• Willingness to travel frequently to remote locations
• Capacity for physically demanding labor, lifting over 50 lb
• Valid driver license and clean driving record
• Experience with meteorological systems or related technologies
• Ability to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively
