OverviewWe are a global consultancy focused on creating a sustainable future. As a Graduate Power Systems Engineer, you will work on decarbonised energy system projects ranging from renewable generation to transmission and distribution.
Responsibilities- Design and analysis of decarbonised energy systems, including renewable generation and grid infrastructure.
- Perform power system studies such as short‑circuit, cable ampacity, arc‑flash, load flow and energy yield.
- Support design of solar facilities, substations and battery energy storage systems.
- Assist with project data documentation and results organisation.
- Keep up to date on industry trends, technologies and regulatory standards related to power systems and renewable energy.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, power system or renewable energy engineering.
- Basic knowledge of power systems, renewable energy technologies and energy storage systems.
- Familiarity with software tools such as PSCAD, PSS/E, ETAP, SKM or similar.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to prioritise effectively.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada without employer‑sponsored work authorisation now or in the future.
- Master’s degree in electrical, power system or renewable energy.
- FE/EIT certification.
- Programming proficiency (Python, C++).
- Experience with project development process and project finance.

SalaryCalgary hiring range: $70,500 – $72,500 per year. Benefits are not included in the base salary.
