* * is hiring a skilled consulting
** Hydrogeologist
* * to support field-based hydrogeological investigations and testing programs in Alberta, Canada. The successful candidate will work on groundwater monitoring and aquifer characterization projects, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis to support environmental and mining operations.  This is a full-time (84 hours per week) limited-term role with a duration of 2 weeks, extendable.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Conduct
** well development
** and perform
** step-rate
** and
** constant-rate pumping tests**.
* Monitor and record
** field parameters
** during testing.
* Collect and preserve
** water quality samples
** in accordance with standard protocols.
* Measure and interpret
** aquifer characteristics**, including:  + Static water level  + Drawdown  + Available head
* Download and manage data from
** pressure transducers
** and other field instruments.
* Analyze hydrogeological data using
** specialized software
** and
** Microsoft Excel**.
* Prepare accurate field logs and contribute to technical reporting.
** Qualifications & Skills
*** Degree in
** Hydrogeology**,
** Geology**, or related discipline.
* Hands-on experience with
** aquifer testing
** and
** groundwater monitoring**.
* Familiarity with
** field instrumentation
** and data management.
* Strong analytical skills with proficiency in
** Excel
* * and relevant hydrogeological software.
* Ability to work independently in remote field environments.
* Ability to work in field for long periods of time.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
** Preferred Experience
*** Previous experience in
** mining**,
** environmental consulting**, or
** water resource projects**.
* Knowledge of
** groundwater flow principles
** and
