Equinox Engineering Ltd., a leading EPCM firm headquartered in Calgary, specializes in oil and gas processing, providing comprehensive services in facilities design, implementation, and operational support for natural gas, conventional, and heavy oil projects. Our clientele includes major oil and gas producers in Canada and globally, and we are actively engaged in diverse sweet gas, sour gas, conventional oil, heavy oil facility, and pipeline projects.
- The Project Engineer works as a key part of the project management group to assist in coordination of discipline engineering and design of oil & gas projects
- He / she will assist the Project Team in ensuring compliance with all project requirements, and regulatory codes and standards
- Ensure that all documents produced on the project meet the quality standards and have had proper review and signoff prior to being issued
- The Project Engineer will manage changes to the project against the agreed upon DBM and deliverable lists for each discipline
- Act as single point technical interface for the project and provide guidance to the engineering disciplines
- Coordinates with vendor on all technical matters
- Preparation of weekly and monthly reporting, design recommendations and other technical reports required by the client
- Growth through repeat business and generation of new business is encouraged and rewarded
- Must have a minimum of 3-6 years’ experience as a Project Engineer with strong technical foundation in graduated discipline and inter discipline roles
- Gas Processing experience is a must have
- Experience managing packaged equipment is an asset
- Pipeline and Heavy Oil experience is an asset
- Capable of working on Multiple projects concurrently and managing a multi-disciplinary team with a Strong Focus on quality
- Successful candidate will have P.Eng with APEGA
- Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree preferred
- 8-10years’ experience in an EPCM Oil & Gas engineering or related environment
