ProfileJoin the Methods Engineering team supporting the production of the De Havilland DHC Aircrafts. This role offers hands‑on experience in manufacturing support, technical documentation, and digital data preparation. Ideal for students seeking real‑world exposure to aerospace manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings to support manufacturing
- Create work instructions and annotated workbooks using CAD tools
- Digitize legacy hand‑drawn drawings using scanning equipment and verify against existing tools/parts
- Use 2D and 3D CAD software (AutoCAD, Solid Works, CATIA) for data preparation
- Handle multiple tasks with proper prioritization in a production environment
- Communicate with other departments to clarify technical details and resolve issues
- Enrolled in a Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering program
- Understanding of engineering drawings
- Experience in CAD software. Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
