Técnicas Reunidas Canada E&C inc. is part of the Técnicas Reunidas Group, a global leader in engineering, procurement and construction services for energy and large-scale industrial projects.
We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our engineering project team. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day support to the Process Engineering Department, ensuring that engineering operations are executed efficiently and in alignment with the Company’s objectives and project requirements.
- Develop and review process documentation, including process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and heat/material balance calculations.
- Perform hands‑on engineering activities during detailed design, construction, pre‑commissioning, and commissioning stages, such as conducting simulations, preparing reports, and participating in on‑site troubleshooting.
- Facilitate effective communications and coordination with cross‑functional teams, sharing technical insights and resources to support project goals.
- Execute process modeling and simulation using Aspen Plus/HYSYS or similar software to optimize designs and evaluate process performance.
- Conduct technical assessments and hands‑on evaluations of processes, equipment adequacy, and modifications to ensure operational efficiency.
- Provide technical inputs and comments on interdisciplinary drawings and documents to ensure integrated project outcomes.
- Respond to technical queries during tender periods and collaborate on bid evaluations.
- Ensure all process documents comply with specified regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines through active verification and testing.
- Generate and analyze reports, flow diagrams, and charts to support process improvements and decision‑making.
- Undertake any other relevant hands‑on duties as required, such as field surveys for brownfield projects.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of related experience in process.
- APEGA certificate would be mandatory.
- Experience in Oil & Gas industry preferred.
