Junior Piping Drafter

Acero Engineering Inc. ("Acero"), a growing facilities engineering company providing engineering, procurement and construction management expertise is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to fill a full-time role as a Junior Piping Drafter.

Acero is focused on facility and pipeline engineering, procurement and construction management services; from concept evaluation to plant start-up. Our core service offering is in-house project management, process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control engineering, project engineering, procurement, regulatory services, civil and structural engineering, and construction management.

Responsibilities:

* Use CADWorx 2D to produce, revise, and modify new or existing detailed drawings from layouts, sketches & design drawings.

* Use CADWorx and Microsoft software to produce charts and simple graphic presentations.

* Maintain project drawing files and the electronic drawings.

* Assure conformity to standards and execution of the work for Quality Assurance and Control.

* Adhere to procedures issued by company or client.

* Adhere to client drafting procedures.

* Work to Standard & Typical Drawings as required.

* Meet drawing schedules and deliverables.

* Other tasks/responsibilities, as required.

Required Education,

Experience and Skills:

* Required:

Graduate of an Engineering Design and Drafting program or Process Piping Drafting Certificate

* Required:

Proficient knowledge in CADWorx 2D

* Required:

2-4 years' related experience

* Proficient knowledge of the English language, written and verbal

* Must have experience with: CADWorx, MS Excel, MS Outlook

* Must be a team player and a self-starter

* Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight timelines as occasionally demanded by our clients
