Join Acero Engineering Inc. as an Instrumentation & Controls Designer on a contract basis, focusing on oil and gas facilities. Your detailed work on control drawings and equipment requisition will be pivotal.
This position emphasizes producing Instrumentation & Control drawing packages, generating control system diagrams, and developing key datasheets. You will also handle demand load calculations and support engineering procurement, ensuring accurate electrical equipment requisitions. Your teamwork and communication skills will be essential in project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create oil facility Instrumentation & Control drawing packages
• Generate drawings for industrial control systems
• Develop datasheets and loop diagrams (preferably SPI)
• Execute demand load and voltage drop calculations
• Interpret vendor electrical drawings and P&IDs
Requirements:
• Degree or Certificate in Electrical or Instrumentation Design
• Proficient in Smart Plant 3D and SPI software
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Capacity to meet tight deadlines under pressure
