As a Building Condition Assessor I, you'll work independently, applying assessment processes for evaluating asset conditions. This role emphasizes technical standards and offers insights into project management and engineering design, particularly in British Columbia and Alberta.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete site evaluations at client locations
• Identify and assess building components and conditions
• Report results using BGIS Asset Management software
• Recommend repairs or replacements for capital budgeting
• Perform other assigned duties as needed
Requirements:
• Diploma in architectural, civil, or mechanical engineering
• 1-3 years of relevant experience is advantageous
• Knowledge of ASTM standards for assessments
• Strong writing and MS Excel skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently
