Position: Mechanical Engineering Technologist with QA/QC Focus
Elevate your career with Foothills Steel Foundry as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist focusing on QA/QC. This unique role offers hands-on experience in quality assurance, fabrication, and engineering documentation.

As part of our growing fabrication and industrial services division, you will collaborate with senior engineers and industry leaders. You will engage in quality system development, create and revise mechanical drawings using Solid Works, and support major industrial projects across Western Canada. This position is perfect for those passionate about welding, fabrication, and quality control processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) to meet project standards

• Prepare quality documentation and turnover packages

• Maintain quality records and document controls

• Assist in Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and investigations

• Coordinate inspection activities including NDE and final acceptance

Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma or equivalent

• 0-5 years of relevant engineering or fabrication experience

• Proficiency in Solid Works or similar CAD software

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Interest in quality systems and industrial manufacturing
