As an Environmental Technologist at Thurber, you will be part of a dynamic team solving critical environmental problems across several industries.
Your role will include conducting environmental assessments, supervising remediation projects, and preparing detailed technical reports. Enjoy mentorship from senior staff as you broaden your experience and expertise in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform environmental site assessments and soil management
• Install and test groundwater remediation wells
• Conduct air and soil vapour sampling
• Direct contractors for site remediation activities
• Liaise with clients and prepare technical documentation
Requirements:
• Consulting experience in environmental roles is advantageous
• Excellent verbal and written English communication
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively both alone and with a team
• Familiarity with safety protocols in environmental work
