Position: Climate Risk Assessment Consultant Role
Join Stantec as a Climate Risk Assessment Consultant, focusing on innovative strategies for climate change planning. This position offers flexible work while delivering effective climate solutions across various sectors.

You will serve as part of Stantec’s Climate Change Planning Team, using your expertise in environmental engineering and sustainability to lead projects that assess climate risks and adapt planning strategies for clients. Your efforts will contribute directly to developing policies as well as stakeholder engagement initiatives across different disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and lead climate risk assessment projects

• Coordinate infrastructure planning with climate mitigation strategies

• Develop capacity-building programs for stakeholders

• Prepare technical analyses, reports, and client presentations

• Lead business development through proposal writing efforts

Requirements:

• Degree in Climate Change, Environmental Sciences, or Engineering

• Proven experience with climate assessments and resilience strategies

• Expertise in project management and client relations

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD tools

• Knowledge of ESG frameworks is advantageous
