This position within the Calgary Electrical Engineering team supports the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects, emphasizing quality and compliance. Candidates with over six years of hands-on experience in the electrical field, particularly in construction administration, will thrive in this collaborative setting. You will engage with engineers and contractors while contributing to prominent projects like the Calgary Green Line.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform site reviews and document findings thoroughly.
• Ensure installations meet project specifications and manage variances.
• Oversee submittals, change orders, and manage project documentation.
• Participate in meetings and facilitate problem-solving discussions.
• Maintain accurate logs and correspondence within project platforms.
Requirements:
• Journeyperson Electrician certification (Red Seal/309A).
• Minimum 6 years in electrical construction administration.
• Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and applicable standards.
• Experience with project management tools and CAD drawings.
• Willingness to travel across Alberta, BC, and Yukon.
