Senior Project Engineering Consultant

In this senior role, you will provide mentoring and advice to project engineers and program managers on the City’s infrastructure projects. Your primary focus will be on developing business cases and project management plans while ensuring high-quality cost estimating practices. Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor Senior Project Engineers in project management lifecycle

• Collaborate with cost estimating specialists for project support

• Assess quality and methodology of cost estimates

• Serve as a contact for external cost estimating support

• Guide third-party firms to comply with city standards

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering with 8+ years of experience

• Proven cost management skills in municipal infrastructure

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License for business use

• AACE certification and Project Management Certification preferred

• Strong communication and independent judgment abilities
