The Junior Cost Estimator will contribute to developing and benchmarking cost estimates while working under the Project Controls Manager. Ideal for junior to mid-level professionals or recent engineering graduates, this position emphasizes analytical skills and teamwork. Expect to handle cost estimate components across various project stages, gaining valuable experience in the oil and energy sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support preparation of cost estimates under guidance
• Develop components like direct and indirect costs
• Analyze estimate data using benchmark metrics
• Create estimate basis documents and presentations
• Aid in preparing benchmarking packages for projects
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• 2–5 years of cost estimating experience
• Familiarity with field construction environments
• Proficiency in MS Office and Power BI
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
