Position: Dynamic Geotechnical Engineering Technologist for Mining Operations

In this role, you will undertake crucial monitoring and maintenance tasks for earthen structures at mine sites. Working under supervisory guidance, you'll conduct soil sampling, testing, and analysis to ensure compliance with design specifications. Your ability to document significant findings and engage with key stakeholders will be essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct soil compaction testing and sampling

• Document job observations and safety compliance

• Maintain geotechnical measurement instruments

• Report on technical observations during construction

• Participate in site safety briefings and meetings
Requirements:

• Post-secondary technical diploma related to geotechnics

• Minimum 1 year of relevant industry experience

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract

• Certification in Standard First Aid required

• Proven knowledge of geotechnical testing and safety procedures
