This role entails leading design tasks with minimal supervision and mentoring junior designers. You will delegate responsibilities effectively and collaborate with team members to ensure accurate specifications and compliance with industry standards. Expect to coordinate mechanical systems across disciplines, actively engaging in meetings with clients and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work independently on scope with minimal supervision

• Mentor junior designers and review submissions

• Place and size distribution systems as per guidelines

• Perform load calculations using relevant software

• Prepare technical drawings and construction documents
Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering required

• Minimum 4 years of industry experience

• Familiarity with mechanical HVAC and plumbing design

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT

• P.Eng. or PE accreditation preferred
