Electrical Estimator - Cost Management Expert

Seeking an Electrical Estimator to manage cost estimations in Electrical and Instrumentation projects. Efficiently create estimates and budgets from our Calgary or Edmonton office while collaborating across teams.
This role focuses on providing detailed cost estimates and procurement oversight for various projects. You'll work closely with project managers to analyze specifications, ensuring thorough reviews of estimates, and maintaining accurate pricing records. The estimator will also liaise with subcontractors to provide competitive bid packages within the energy services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage cost estimation for electrical projects

• Review internal and client estimates

• Control scope changes and manage procurement

• Analyze design drawings and specifications

• Collaborate on bid analysis and contractor pricing
Requirements:

• 7+ years of related experience in estimating

• Relevant educational qualifications or trade certification

• Proficient in Accu Bid and Microsoft applications

• Current Journeyperson Electrician Ticket is required

• Skilled in blueprint interpretation and analysis
