Renewable Energy Transmission Engineer WSP

In the role of Intermediate Transmission Line Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of renewable energy through effective transmission design. Your experience will enable you to lead projects from concept to completion while managing technical deliverables and client relationships. Projects will include new builds, upgrades, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical design for transmission lines from 34.5kV to 500kV

• Prepare and evaluate design deliverables and project specifications

• Conduct comprehensive quality reviews on engineering work

• Manage project budgets, schedules, and client expectations

• Provide support for business development and project proposals
Requirements:

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field

• 5-10 years in high-voltage transmission line design experience

• Proficient in PLS-CADD and AutoCAD/Microstation

• Required Professional Engineering license (P.Eng.)

• Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities
