Position: Lead Facility Design Standards at SAIT
SAIT seeks a Facility Design Standards Lead to ensure facility design compliance and oversee all capital projects. This key role emphasizes the application of technical standards in a collaborative environment.
In this position, you will serve as the institutional authority on facility design and technical standards. The role encompasses managing design guidelines, conducting design reviews, and implementing continuous improvements. Your expertise will guide capital projects, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades while ensuring adherence to safety and operational reliability objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and govern SAIT’s Facility Design Guidelines

• Review and maintain facility design standards

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements

• Act as technical authority during project phases

• Collaborate with teams on document development
Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering Technology or related field required

• 7-10 years in facilities design or engineering experience

• Ability to influence stakeholders effectively

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Eligibility for registration with ASET or equivalent
