Key

Skills:
  • Perform process simulations using Aspen HYSYS, Flare System, EDR.
  • Develop line sizing, PSV sizing, and process data sheets for equipment & instruments.
  • Assemble detailed design criteria, PFDs, P&IDs, Line Lists, Control Narratives, and SDKs.
  • Coordinate design work and projects with other disciplines in a team setting.
  • Provide problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Adaptability to various situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Produce technically accurate project deliverables within budget and schedule.
  • Maintain close working relationships with the project team and other discipline groups.
  • Manage multiple projects independently.
  • Assist engineering leads and managers.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to self-check and produce accurate deliverables.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
Education &

Qualifications:
  • Degree or diploma in Chemical Engineering or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum three (3) years experience in upstream Oil and Gas production facilities in Western Canada.
  • APEGA registration.
  • Experience in natural gas processing (sweet and sour), including separation, compression, dehydration, refrigeration, and sweetening.
  • Knowledge of codes, standards, and regulatory requirements: ASME, ANSI, B31.3, CSA Z662, ABSA Pressure Piping Registration, API 520, API 2000, etc.
  • Understanding of AER and BCER regulatory processes is an asset.
  • Construction, commissioning, and operations experience is an asset.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with clients and vendors.
  • Legal right to work in Canada.
