In the Fuels Strategy and Capital Planning Department, the ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and at least 10 years of relevant experience. You will need strong capabilities in economic evaluations and technical analyses. This position supports strategic decision-making by thoroughly reviewing capital project submittals and assessing feasibility based on market conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Validate completeness of capital project submittals
• Assess economic and operational assumptions in projects
• Conduct feasibility assessments for proposed initiatives
• Provide recommendations on project value and alignment
• Review investment plans to ensure strategic consistency
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
• 10+ years in process engineering and capital project reviews
• Expertise in economic modeling and feasibility analysis
• Strong understanding of refinery and fuels systems
• Proficient analytical and communication skills
