Join Certarus as a Junior Technical Services Engineer in Calgary and start your journey in low-carbon energy solutions. This role blends support for operations and sales with hands-on experience.
Recent engineering graduates will thrive in this entry-level position, gaining knowledge in Pressure Reduction Systems (PRS) and equipment troubleshooting. Reporting to the Technical Services Engineering Lead, you’ll receive mentorship, with travel to field locations expected to enhance your learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Champion safety in office and field activities
• Facilitate communication among Engineering, Operations, and Sales
• Offer technical assistance on-site for operations and customers
• Support commissioning of PRS systems under mentorship
• Utilize SCADA systems to monitor equipment performance
Requirements:
• Engineering degree or diploma (recent graduates welcomed)
• 1–3 years experience in oil & gas or energy sectors
• Familiarity with electrical or gas systems is a plus
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities
• Enthusiastic and safety-focused with a growth mindset
