OT Networking Specialist

Position: Insight Global OT Networking Specialist
Step into a key role with Insight Global as an OT Networking Specialist, enjoying a flexible hybrid arrangement from Edmonton or remotely. Focus on supporting operational technology within power generation facilities across North America.
In this 12-month contract position, you'll utilize your extensive OT networking experience, including design, support, and maintenance of industrial networks and security systems. Your contribution is crucial to enabling safe and efficient operations at various industrial sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and monitor OT networks within industrial environments

• Maintain cybersecurity applications and protocols

• Troubleshoot network issues affecting operations

• Drive improvements in greenfield and brownfield development projects

• Ensure compliance with NIST, NERC CIP, and other standards
Requirements:

• Over 5 years of operational technology networking experience

• Profound knowledge of Cisco, Fortinet, and Palo Alto technologies

• Understanding of industrial control systems including PLC, SCADA

• Familiarity with communication protocols like MODBUS and DNP3

• Degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering
