Become a part of Geo Verra as a Geospatial Technician, a hybrid position based out of Alberta. This role focuses on field data collection and processing using advanced technologies like 3D laser scanning.
The successful candidate will have the chance to work remotely across Canada while gaining experience with innovative geospatial solutions. You will play a vital role in a team-oriented environment, managing equipment and data processing tasks to ensure quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage field survey tasks and coordinate with Survey Assistants
• Prepare necessary field documentation for various audiences
• Assist in field data collection with advanced equipment
• Conduct feature extraction and geospatial data processing
• Travel to project sites as needed
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in a related discipline
• 3–6 years of relevant experience preferred
• Familiarity with software like AutoCAD/Civil 3D
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Willingness to work in both field and office settings
