Drive creative projects with Solaris as a Project Engineer in Surrey, BC or Calgary, AB.
Lead multidisciplinary teams in the natural gas and LNG sectors while ensuring adherence to codes and standards.
This full time permanent role involves coordinating design teams, managing project schedules and budgets, and liaising with clients, vendors, and subcontractors. As a Project Engineer, you will ensure designs meet specifications while supporting equipment selection and technical accuracy. Your expertise will shape project success in renewables, hydrogen, and more.
Key Responsibilities- Act as liaison between Project Manager and design teams
- Ensure compliance with specifications and regulations
- Coordinate project schedules, deliverables, and objectives
- Prepare estimates and review P&IDs for accuracy
- Monitor procurement to ensure timelines and specifications
- Degree in Engineering; P.Eng. preferred
- 4+ years in Natural Gas, Renewables, or LNG
- Experience in EPCM environments
- Robust skills in centrifugal compression and LNG systems
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
