As the Traction Power Construction Lead, you will oversee the planning and coordination of traction power substations, focusing on regulatory compliance and operational needs. With responsibilities spanning high-voltage utility interfaces, AC distribution, and integration with SCADA systems, your technical and managerial expertise will be key. Collaborating with multiple disciplines, you will resolve field issues, manage contractor performance, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership for traction power substations construction

• Manage contractor performance for cost, schedule, and safety

• Oversee coordination with electrical utilities for high-voltage supply

• Review and resolve technical issues affecting traction power systems

• Support energization and handover readiness for substations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration in Canada

• 10–15 years of experience in rail transit projects

• Demonstrated experience in traction power substations

• Proven track record of managing contractors and technical issues
