Scott Land has a long‑term, very active client who needs an in‑house Surface Land Coordinator to work in their surface group on contract, through Scott Land. This role is at the client’s Calgary office, five days a week, for one year on a maternity leave coverage. Starts mid‑Sept.
Skills required for success in this role:- Track record of success working on demanding projects
- Strong technical land skills
- Ability to learn new things quickly
- Engaging personality and interpersonal skills
- An ability to effectively multi‑task
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and highly organized
- Strong computer skills
- Freehold and Crown Surface experience
- 5+ years of Surface Land experience in Alberta
- Working knowledge of surface land procedures, relevant land legislation and regulations
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office products with strong Excel skills, and ability to integrate new software into daily workflows
- Monitoring and reporting on project progress
