Electrical Engineer-in-Training Substations

In this entry-level role, you will support various HV/EHV AC and DC substation projects in a collaborative environment. Your responsibilities will include engineering studies, detailed designs of substations, and technical support for procurement and construction. You will also engage in site visits and contribute to high-quality engineering deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform engineering studies like power flow and short circuit analysis

• Conduct detailed designs including switchyard layouts and single line diagrams

• Prepare technical specifications for major equipment

• Support procurement, construction, and commissioning phases

• Assist in drafting proposals and project estimates

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

• Eligible for Engineer-in-Training registration

• 0–6 years relevant experience preferred

• Familiarity with PSSE, ETAP, and AutoCAD is an asset

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
