Support major turnaround initiatives with a leading Oil and Gas company as a Turnaround Planner in Calgary, Alberta. This contract role focuses on planning, execution, and coordination of turnaround events.
Your role as a Turnaround Planner involves developing work scopes, job plans, and critical execution schedules. You will collaborate closely with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to ensure all tasks are defined clearly. With over 5 years of mechanical experience, you will also have a substantial impact on optimizing shutdown timelines and ensuring resources are available.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed turnaround work scopes and execution schedules
• Collaborate with teams to ensure clarity in scope and priorities
• Provide on-site planning support during turnaround activities
• Troubleshoot issues in real time to adjust plans as needed
• Ensure compliance with industry standards in mechanical processes
Requirements:
• 5+ years hands-on mechanical experience in industrial settings
• 3+ years of maintenance or turnaround planning experience
• Proven ability to develop detailed job plans
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance processes
• Experience with scheduling software preferred
Lead the planning and execution of critical turnaround events in the Oil and Gas sector while ensuring standard compliance.
