Key Responsibilities:

• Develop weekly operational plans for system coordination

• Conduct technical studies of planned and unplanned system events

• Analyze system disturbances and produce operational reports

• Provide after-hours engineering support for System Controllers

• Collaborate on operational issues with various industry participants

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering

• 4-5+ years in electric system operations or planning

• Knowledge of Alberta's electricity industry

• Experience with PSS/E, TSAT, and VSAT software

• Eligibility for APEGA Professional Engineer registration
