Position: Project Controls Lead for LNG Projects
Join Brunel as a Project Controls Lead focused on brownfield LNG projects in Calgary, Alberta, with occasional site visits to Kitimat, BC. Your expertise in estimating and cost control will enhance project delivery.

As Project Controls Lead, you will oversee essential project controls functions for oil and gas initiatives, ensuring effective cost and schedule management. Collaborating with specialists, contractors, and finance teams, your role will involve developing project baselines and accurate forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead contractor estimate reviews for accuracy and completeness

• Develop benchmarking data to evaluate contractor pricing

• Prepare independent estimates for project decisions

• Establish cost control practices and track project financials

• Contribute to portfolio-level progress reporting

Requirements:

• Experience in Project Controls with cost estimating focus

• Skills in validating contractor estimates and reports

• Knowledge of MS Project and/or Primavera scheduling

• Familiarity with SAP financial processes

• Strong analytical and communication abilities
