Join Global Engineering and Testing as a Junior Engineer in Calgary. This role is ideal for recent graduates and offers hands-on experience in geotechnical engineering challenges.
As a Junior Engineer (EIT), you will benefit from a collaborative environment and gain expertise in site investigations and data management. This full-time or 3–6-month term position provides a pathway for individuals eager to grow their engineering careers and work on innovative projects. You’ll develop skills crucial for client engagement and technical reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform site investigations and inspections
• Effectively analyze and manage engineering data
• Draft reports, letters, and memos using Microsoft Office
• Work closely with engineering teams and clients
Requirements:
• Degree in geological or civil engineering
• Knowledge of soil mechanics and classification
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Valid Canadian driver's license preferred
