As a Field Engineer with Worley, you'll engage with advanced construction projects in Alberta, focusing on heavy-oil facilities and gas plants. This role combines technical expertise and effective collaboration with construction crews, supervisors, and project managers. Strong communication skills are vital as you interpret complex drawings, develop scopes of work, and provide essential project documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret engineering drawings across disciplines
• Compile Requests for Information (RFIs) to support projects
• Troubleshoot issues with construction crews on-site
• Coordinate activities across various project disciplines
• Attend daily toolbox meetings for project updates
Requirements:
• Engineering degree in civil or mechanical from an accredited institution
• Eligibility for EIT registration with APEGA
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related applications
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence without restrictions
• Strong communication skills for technical liaison
