Regulatory Advisor

Position: Regulatory Advisor at Inter Pipeline
Join Inter Pipeline as a Regulatory Advisor and support compliance and approvals in the energy sector. This role focuses on regulatory oversight, stakeholder relations, and operational alignment.

Based in Calgary, you will report to the Supervisor of Environment, Land & Regulatory. The role requires 7-15 years of experience in oil and gas regulations. You'll serve as a subject matter expert, navigating compliance audits and fostering relationships with regulatory bodies throughout IPL’s Natural Gas Liquids facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a regulatory expert for Pioneer 1 & 2 and Cochrane Extraction Plant

• Develop execution plans for regulatory approvals and schedules

• Coordinate compliance audits and assessments as needed

• Manage stakeholder consultation plans for projects and operations

• Maintain facility licenses and regulatory approvals for assets

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Science/Environmental Science or Engineering

• 7–15 years of experience in regulatory compliance management

• Knowledge of AER regulations and application processes

• Strong communication skills in cross-functional environments

• Experience with land management is an asset
