Join Quanta Services as a Renewable Energy Estimator specializing in wind projects. This office-based position in Calgary involves developing detailed cost estimates and execution plans for large-scale wind energy initiatives.
As part of Quanta Canada Renewables, you will focus on 100 MW+ wind project estimation and ensure that all projects meet safety, budget, and timeline requirements. Collaborating with engineering and construction teams is essential, as is participating in solar project estimates and vendor management coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct accurate production estimates for wind projects
• Develop comprehensive project schedules with teams
• Review bids and perform risk assessments
• Liaise with clients on project scope and budgets
• Collaborate on vendor bids tailored for wind construction
Requirements:
• Over 5 years of Renewable Energy Estimation experience
• Expertise in 100 MW+ wind project estimation
• Familiarity with estimating tools like Hard Dollar
• Strong cross-functional teamwork and communication skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
Lead estimations that contribute to Quanta’s mission in renewable energy solutions.
